About Me

Who is Ashlyn Rose?

I am from San Clemente, California and currently attend Loyola Marymount University in the sunny Los Angeles. I am a junior set to graduate in 2020 with a Marketing Major, and a double minor in Film, Television, & Media Studies, and Theology.

I love people. They are my inspiration and I believe some of the best work comes from working with others. I am a supportive team member and understanding leader always wanting to learn more. I define a leader as someone who spreads moral and positive change through an influential voice while being easily approachable and a good listener.

I’ve enjoyed learning to work in fast-paced work environments like at Dave & Buster’s and Zebra House Coffee Shop. I grew my personal skills through my work as a Resident Advisor for first-year students where I learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, organization, and patience. I grew my professional skills as the Program Consultant for an LMU LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment, and Achievement in Desmond) program developing the class curriculum and being a team member for something much larger than myself. I fostered my creativity by designing the logo for LEAD, eye-catching pitch letters at Shaun Thompson PR, and many engaging posts for St. Edward Church’s Youth Ministry social media accounts.

I'm looking for my next adventure where I can continue to learn about marketing and find what I am passionate about within the field. Whatever it may be - I'm looking forward to it!
